A character opens the a door, crosses a room and sits down on a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue.
We had to make sure that it included; match on action , rule of thirds and the 180 degree rule.
When me and my group had originally came up with an idea , it was the idea of A rebellious child has been discharged from a juvenile detention center and is being forced to go to counselling sessions, where he displays aggressive, destructive and intolerable behavior, along with a lot of attitude, we got this idea from an episode of Criminal Minds where a boy named Amanda seeks therapy from Reid who helps him out by revealing some information about him. We got the inspiration from the two characters to create similar characters but with a different personality.

Our Character Zuha was inspired by Reid

The different types of camera techniques we used was; match on action, rule of thirds and 180 degree we also used pann and tilts when needed, we did close ups to make it seem more exaggerated and we did long shots , high shots and mid shots, we also used a dolly for when tracking Brandon walking.
Example: Match On Action
Match on action is an editing technique for continuity editing in which one shot cuts to another shot portraying the action of the subject in the first shot.
I used match on action in my scene with the door, we had the door being kicked down, we filmed Brandon walking up and kicking the door and we saw from the inside of the room where Zuha was this is where the action was seen.
Example: Rule Of Thirds

Rule of thirds we had to ensure that the person who was on screen , there eyes were on the grid and that it followed the rule of thirds, we had to make sure we got this right especially when doing close ups with the face the eyes had to be on the grid, if we were doing a view from outside we had to make sure that the horizon sits on the second line as this is where the sky and the ground would meet, we used this a lot whilst filming.

Rule of 180 degree, this was rule was very important because we had to make sure we didn't break the imaginary line when filming we had to ensure that this was executed correctly. We used this whilst filming when a conversation was taking place between Brand and Zuha, we also had to make sure we didn't break this because if we did it would show that we did not know how to execute this and that we don't understand it.
Example: High Angle

A high shot is used to make the other person look smaller and weaker, we used a high angle in our work we used it when Brandon was sitting down on the chair and the camera was at a high angle making the other person watching over him have more power than him.
Example: Low Angle

A low angle makes us see things from the other person view, in our scene we used a low angle when Brandon went down into his bag we did a low shot of when he moves us , making the audience see what he pulled out of his bag.
Example: Extreme Close Up
An extreme close is used when either focusing on one specific thing or facial expression. we used an extreme close up in our scene when Brandon light up a cigarette with a lighter, we did an extreme close up because we wanted the audience to focus on the act he was doing.
