But I think that the shots were good and the scenario that was given to us was good and I think the story line we created worked well I also thought that the use of the 180 and rule of third rules were executed successfully.
Camera:
I think we used a good use of the digital camera we used a different of variate of shots so we didn't keep the camera stationary we always had the camera moving to keep the audience entertained, when we used the tripod it allowed us to do different types of shots
I think that the rules of third was mastered well as we always made sure that the person on screen followed the rule and their eyes were always in the grid.
I think that our match on action was okay and could have been done a little better , whilst editing I learnt how to make it open in the exact moment and it helped with the match on action a lot, and it was clear to tell where the match on action was.
When using our weblogs for this section we had to use it for uploading our planning work and also our draft, when creating this piece of work we had to make sure that we had a story line drawn on a storyboard, this helped us a lot when filming as we used this a lot when filming and stuck to it when filming.
Creativity:
I think that we followed the brief really well we just decided to make a story line with brief we decided to make it something that people would enjoy to watch and also it was easy to follow with a story line added to it, we decided to make ours by doing something different compared to everyone else's we did something more serious rather than something comedy like.
When creating our preliminary task we had to focus on the continuity editing for our project we also had to say where and how we came up with the idea for our story line, we then had to explain why we would use these specific shots and why we used them and what impact they had.
Post Production:
Post production included editing, we used iMovie for editing our footage making sure it was all in a continuity order, we also had the workshop that week and did some editing on iMovie again we had to work on the match on action and make sure that we perfected it, we also go to create credits on iMovie saying who was in there.
Research and Planning:
When researching we looked at students pass work that gave us an idea on what we should create and it also told us what we should and shouldn't do,we got this idea of doing a counselling session from
an episode of criminal minds when someone is having a session for therapy we got the idea from the main character as to how they were professional and kept a good mask and we tried our best to incorporate that in our work.
We had to decide when and were we would film and we had to make sure that we had permission to use the room, we decided to film our scene in school because it was easier and we found the room we needed and it suited what we had in mind, we had to make sure that we set ourselves a deadline so we knew when we had to get all the editing done and when we can allow ourselves to re-film any scenes that needed to be re-filmed.
What was less successful:
I think our match an action could have been done a little more better with using a different room that matches the room we originally used or we could have used a different location other than school.
I think that we could have also used an older character to play the counselor instead of using a student to make it a lot more believable rather than using a student, also using and adult would show the authority and the different classes between the two we would've also seen the contrast between the two. I think that I could have spent more time in the editing to make it look more presentable and more professional and I also could have made it look more finished and I also think that if I spent more time on some shots It could have made them look more finished.
How did you improve upon each of these areas when making your BSR?:
When filming the opening sequence we did a match on action shot and I think that it worked really well this time because we have put more effort into it and to also make it more professional and I think that it had a really good flow.
I also think that our flashbacks were done well the continuity flow went really well and it didn't confuse the audience it also allowed us to let the audience know what was going on and it also showed them that a different time period is taking place. I think our 180 degree rule worked well too as we didn't break it and we always made sure that we followed the rule and the rule of thirds.

We used a Canary Wharf as our establishing shot to show that it was set in London and we also used a school as it shows that our main character is still a student and makes it relatable for our audience.
We made our graphics more simple and plain this was to fit the British Social realist conventions and also we made sure that the graphics suited our title and we also did our title which was done really well the gaps between each letter expressed the loneliness of our character, we did all our texts in Live Type, and added all of this onto final cut where we added all the final touches to it.
I think that the planning and research we did was useful because we watched a couple BSR'S that allowed us to understand what we needed to create and we also had to go into depth with what we saw and why it was shown that specific way.
